Steampunk World's Fair 2011

The Steampunk World's Fair 2011 took place this past weekend! Here are some photos I found on flickr from the event. If you're not familiar with steampunk or would like to read up on what to expect at a sci fi convention from the 1800s check out the organization's website.

VCON 2010 - Steampunk!

VCON: Vancouver's Convention of Science Fiction and Fantasy starts today! The Guests of Honour include: Cherie Priest (author of Boneshaker, illustrator James F. Beveridge and Celtic fusion singer-songwriter Heather Dale. A screening of The Best of Bottomless Lake is set to take place Saturday afternoon and will include a Q&A with David Nykl, director Craig March, writer Kennedy Goodkey and more of the cast and crew.
